Wendy Famoroti is a seasoned hospitality professional with a marketing background and over seven years of hospitality experience.
She holds a Masters in International Hotel Management from the Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School in Sydney Australia and a Masters degree in Marketing from the Dublin Business School in Ireland. While studying for her Masters in Sydney, Wendy trained at two Accor properties in Sydney Australia – the Mercure Sydney and the Sofitel Sydney.
Before this, she started her career in a major experiential marketing company in Toronto, Canada. Through the years, her experience has extended across different sections of the hospitality industry, including sales & marketing, consultancy and events. Her subsequent roles led to the creation and execution of successful integrated marketing campaigns and events for brands both at home and abroad. She is a creative individual with a keen interest in creating exceptional customer experience through the improvement of the customer service value chain.
As the General Manager of Villa Monument Hotel, her goal is to offer guests the perfect world-class boutique hotel experience, in Lagos Nigeria. In her free time, Wendy enjoys traveling to new cities, exploring new cuisines, and spending time with her family.
John Oche Otokpa is an experienced hospitality professional.
His first role in hospitality was at Protea Hotels. During his time at Protea, John undertook vast training and received numerous awards including Employee of the Year.
He joined the 355 Group in 2013 and successfully managed several of the group’s restaurants, and was a pivotal key to the group’s provision of exceptional experiences and consistency across its properties.
In a bid to take on new challenges and expand his skill set, he left the group in 2019 to manage a popular restaurant and lounge in Victoria Island, Lagos. After several key accomplishments at this establishment, he rejoined the 355 Group as the operations manager of its new hotel Villa Monument.
At Villa Monument Hotel, John ensures the smooth running of daily hotel operations with the single goal of maximizing guest satisfaction.
